Admissions Consultation
Proposed Change to Admissions Criteria for Nottingham University Academy of Science and Technology.
Every year schools and academies are required to review their admission arrangements. The aim is to ensure that the arrangements continue to be appropriate, and that they comply with all the relevant requirements.
It has been agreed that NUAST, which is part of the NOVA Education Trust, would consult on the existing admission arrangements.
The proposed changes surround wording contained within the policy in relation to the in-year admissions process. The proposed changes are aligned to the wording found in the DFE School’s Admissions code. Please note that there is no proposed change to the oversubscription criteria. NUAST Admissions Policy 26-27
The consultation will run from 13th December 2024 until 31st January 2025. Parents and Carers are particularly welcome to comment on the proposed change to the admission arrangements for 2026/27. Please send your comments only relating to the changes in the section of the admission criteria detailed above to enquiries@nuast.org with the subject “Admissions Consultation”.
Responses will be considered with the final admissions arrangements published by the 28th February 2025.
