Our Curriculum Journey
Curriculum Intent: Law
Our study of A-Level Law provides students with a comprehensive overview of three key areas of law, whilst also developing an understanding of the English Legal System and its various constituent parts.
Studying A-Level Law provides students with the opportunity to develop their understanding of the formation of both civil and criminal law, demonstrate an application of legal precedent, whilst also evaluating the application of this law within various scenarios and contemporary society.
Students will also build upon the writing skills developed during their study of GCSE English, developing criticality within their academic essay writing with the view to further pursuit of this within Higher Education and beyond.
